Ludo’s lookings at sheep

Hurro.
Well it be all rainy, windy and miserable. I quite likes the wind but Mummy thinks it be scary so only quick walks for me today. I will show you instead my latest Ludo’s lookings adventure from a few days ago when me and Mum went almost to the churchyard again and found sheeps and other stuffs. Today I will show you the way there, and tomorrow the way back.

First we found the post box and the village notice board, both excellent peemail places for Reilly.

Mum thinks this field of rape/canola flowers, used to make cooking oil looks like a flag.

I has to sit and wait at the roads in case any cars come by.

Can you see the church in the distance?

hm, what does that funny smell be?

Sheeps!! lots and lots of sheeps!

ah.. Cute, Hurro baby sheeps!

This one be having a drink from his Mummy sheep. Mum says most of the baby sheeps will be gone soon. To become lamb for peoples to eat. Who knows, I may get some of the bits the peoples does not want to eat to go in MY belly. Too bad little sheeps. It make mum sad to see them go off to market, but she say it very nice to see them on a day like this and know they is having a good fun life with their Mummies and their friends, even if it does be a short one, it much better than some places keep them.

hm, funny looking sheep…

Apparently I be meant to herd sheeps into bunches and what not, but I much more interested in trying to eat/roll in their poo.

We lefted that sheep field through a gate and started off on this one, this bit used as a playing field but on the other side there beed something I has never seed in person afore but has had much fears and confusions and worryings about… It starts with a h and ends in an al, only these ones were the animal kind and not the building kind. Does you know what be the other side of this fence Mum tried to make me pose at?

Come back tomorrow to find out annndddd to see more sheeps that we found on the way back home.

  1. Oh what a fun adventure! Those little babies are so cute but that makes us very sad about their short lives. Now we may never eat lamb again, well, now Mom may never eat lamb again but as for me, I’m still ok with it. ;)Nala

  3. Cool sheep! That field of flowers does look like a flag.My only guess for what is behind the fence is a “horsepital”, but that would be a building, so I don’t think I’m right.

  4. Too bad that you didn’t get a chance to herd those sheep Ludo. Gus, Louie and Callie do it all the time and they have a lot of fun. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your walk.Your friend,Niamh

  6. Hi Ludo! It was fun to go with you on your walk, but it was sad to think of the little sheeps not having a very long life. They’re so cute! See ya!Joey

  7. My Mummy thinks all animals should be allowed to live their life “free range”. She says if peoples must eat them, then the should at least be happy first.I don’t know whats on the other side of the fence, but you didn’t look furry happy to see it!Big licks to youSuzukixxx

  8. Oh my Ludo, that looks like it is shaping up to be quite the walk and adventure!! I am so jealous you got to see all the sheep in the field! Mommy has been trying to find a place to teach my how to chase them too cause I’m part border collie but Mater Chew Sit’s doesn’t seem to want to let the doggies chase sheep. :(I think I know what’s on the other side, be careful my love!Licks,Kylie

  9. Hey Ludo – awesome photos from your walk and lookings at the sheep! I agree that sheep poo is more interesting than sheep themselves! The baby sheep are so cute – we don’t like to think about what will happen to them.Is it a real live horsepital on the other side of the fence? Can’t wait to see!

  10. Ludo, come on now, once you are done eating the poop I expect to see some wild herding action. They ARE sheep, after all.Slobbers,Mango

  11. That was a most excellent adventure…..how did you stop yourself from wanting to herd those sheep or at least woof loudly at them. Mom say that is one cool mail box too do you know they hardly have them here anymore, not on streets anymore…..there are some near large shops but that is all. Now everyone has to go to the post office. That yellow field was also very pretty…..mmmmm that would be fun to jump and play in

  12. You got a great walkie in with Mom – those sheep look mighty interesting. Hmmm, is sheep poop like goose poop – maybe we need to test it out:) Thanks for taking us along on your walk.Woos, the OP Pack
