Hello, it is me, Arran! Do you remember when I was just a little scamp, like this? Well, that was a long time ago now, because today, I am three! I am no longer a Scamp (sometimes). I am going to tell you all about my birthday and how grown up I am now. Oh, and it was my Sisfur Faline’s Birthday on the 12th, so I will tell you about that as well.
Phew, that was a jawful of words to say!
It’s me, Arran! I get to blog today because Ludo is sulking.
Something is wrong with Ludo again and I do not like it! No one will let me help. If I try and investigate where Ludo smells funny and is hurting he shows mean teeth to me and if he doesn’t Ladee and Dad tell me to leave him alone. I look at him and then I whine at Mum Ladee and walk backwards. That is how I get her attention and tell her I am worried. She says he will be ok. Ludo is sulking because he says he has horrible things stuck in him again, all across his belly, like thorns in your paw and if only he was allowed to pull them out he knows he would be ok! It sounds horrible to me! I do not like getting anything stuck on me, not even on my fur! I stop and wait until Dad or Mum pull it off of me. I don’t know why they don’t pull out the things that are bothering Ludo. Also, he is hogging all the attention and cuddles and he is always sitting on Mum’s lap!
It’s me, Arran!
This weekend I got to have some really Scampy fun. We went to a really interesting place called ‘Snow’. I have seen snow falling from the sky before and looked at it, but I have never been to Snow before. Mum heard it had snowed, but we didn’t get any because of the salty sea air, so she said to Dad, let’s go find some, because Arran is nearly three. And we did!
We drove a bit inland and went up a little higher onto the Cumbrian Fells onto Cold Fell and there we found… Snow! It was all white and sinky and also cold. I suppose that makes sense. Mum says that it is called Cold all year round and there is only Snow sometimes, but snow is always cold. I think my head hurts.
Here are some photos!
Arran hates this blackbird that comes into our garden. He hasn’t been by for a while because of the never ending rain, so he was especially angry to see him this time.
He reminds me of a character from one of my favourite childhood films. Jim Henson’s ‘Dark Crystal.’
What do you think? Although, having a tantrum doesn’t get you your own way in the real world, does it Arran?
Well, maybe sometimes, but it only works on puppies.
There is going to be some building work starting by our house and somepup has to make sure they know not to come any closer!
We are off to help at our dog club’s agility show this weekend, we will be camping! I have been camping once before and I liked it. I made sure no one except me, Ladee and Ludo could come into our tent. So I will have to leave the intruder guarding in my Dad’s hands this weekend. Although, I am pretty sure he will not do as good a job as me!
Hello Efurryone! It’s Me, Arran! We are back from our blogging break.
Two days ago, on the 14th of May, it was my birthday. I was a whole 2 years old. I am all grown up now, although I still feel like the same little Scamp I always did.
I had a very nice birthday. The day before I went to agility training and that is always lots of fun. My mum, Ladee says I am getting much better at ignoring distractions. Distractions are fun because they are always something interesting like another dog running around. I go to my first show at the end of May so Ladee says I must try and listen.
Anyway, back to my birthday. I got a nice card and badge from Grandpawents and Rusty. Rusty is my best friend! He came to stay with us for two whole weeks whilst Mum and Dad went away on a thing called Honeymoon. That was lots of fun but it was still nice to have them back. It was really exciting when Mum and Dad came through the door, we jumped all over them. Rusty too.
Ladee got me a pinata for my birthday. I really wanted to play with it and I span round and round and herded it whilst Ladee held it up in the air but then as soon as it went down on the ground Ludo shouted at me and chased me out the way and then even though Ludo got made to go away I would not go anywhere near it so Ludo got to open it. Ludo loves opening things.
Ludo sure is mean! I had to hide on Mum and Dad’s laps to watch him open my present. He did not care about the stuff inside though.
We both got a pigs ear that was inside the pinata. I am wearing a badge that says two!
Mum Ladee gave me the tail from the Pinata, but it did not look as interesting as the bit Ludo had. Ladee says usually I am the one bullying Ludo and stealing all his stuff so I had to suck it up.
I got two toys!
Well, It was a nice birthday anyway I guess and I got to play with the legs in the end. Plus Auntie came round with sausage and chips and gave us some. We love Auntie!
pee ess: We will get some wedding photos up in the next few days!
