Thinking thursday

Here I be, copying MFT. So, what I thinking of today?

Thinking it funny that Molly a boy. hehe. He had a case of mistaken gendentity when he beed a puppy. Well, a kitten, since that what rabbit’s is called, but since he a rabbit-dog and not a rabbit-cat I think puppy make more sense.

Puppy Molly.

Molly meeting Penny.

Auntie Penny got scared.

Thinking of…

Hamish, because I went to a lake again and posed for some photos, taking his advice about making the scenery look better. I bets he doing that right now at rainbow bridge.

Wondering if Mum will help me gets the piccures up this weekend or if she will do moanings about stupid work.

Thankful for…
My award from Dennis.

It bribery really to post some more piccures, so it pretty good that TNP tooked us to a new lake on wednesday. Click on the award to see what I said last time I did it. It mostly still true.

My award! By Not Auntie Penny

oh! Hello! It’s me, Penny! This is very exciting to get to talk to you all! Normally I don’t take any interest in what Ludo’s doing, unless it involves food, or walks, or him being in my way when I want to get somewhere. But Mum 2 (that’s the same person as Ludo’s Mum) told me the other day that I’d been given an award!
It was addressed to Auntie Penny, which isn’t my actual name of course, it’s just what Ludo calls me. My name is just Penny, or sometimes Penny pops, or Penpen or smelly Penny, but none of the people call me Auntie Penny, and I only really care about them. I’m not really that interested in other dogs. Just people.
Here is my award! From Mack, thank you so much Mack!!

I have to list 10 things that make me happy. That shouldn’t be too hard.
1. People food!
2. Finding things to eat in the street!
3. Finding things to eat at the beach!
4. Running around off lead and barking!
5. Chasing birds (and sheep, but I’m not allowed to do that one)
6. Sleeping.
7. Sleeping on people’s feet
8. Sleeping on Mum 2’s bed.
9. Pretending to be deaf, I get away with it now I’m getting older. I don’t feel old though!
10. My coat
11. Humping people’s legs to get attention from Ludo, especially TNP’s!

That’s a good list! Somethings I don’t like are riding in cars, going to the vets, the people all going out, fireworks and other strange noises and shouting!

I am supposed to award it onto 10 friends, but since I usually sleep while Ludo and Mum 2 are blogging I don’t really know if I have any. So if you would like to be my friend and you have an annoying Ludo-like thing living with you, please have it.

Wow! That was my first post. Good huh? Ludo has also got this award a few times, but he had an attack of bad Ludo last night and chewed up a couple of clay guinea pigs. He actually got them off the shelves. That’s even badder than when I picked up a dead bird the other day and nearly gave Dad a heart attack. I think…

Bye bye! Love, Penny.

Lookie what I got!!
Cool huh?
Thanks Efurrypup who voted for me.

Mum is going away and leaving me soon. For forever… At least 4 whole days. Which will be like forever. She say she will miss me too. I thinks I might just not let her go, she going to a music festival. This why we missing my display. Not fair!

She not go till wednesday so I will probably post again afore then, but she say she has lots to get ready still. So we has falled a bit behind with out blog reading. I will catch up tomorrow and Sunday. Stupid Mum beed working extra because of having time off next week.

Thanks to Ricky, and Oreo and Misty who has played Tricky T-day so far!

~lickies, Ludo

Pee ess; Sara, this how we piccured mini Oreo. Since Mum didn’t have the right colour clay for an Orbee, BOL. Your jump will look a bit different though. If it survived transport.

My parents

Honey asked me to play the parent game with her, where we has to tell about our real, dog parents and not our adoptive people pawrents.

So here goes…
My Mummy beed a blue merle like me, only smaller and shyer. I not remember her too much, I think we beed her first litter and so she gotted a bit fed up with us sometimes, but she teached us good about scary things. I lived in a house with some other shelties, and some whippets and pidgeons. Well, the pidgeons lived outside.

My Mummy beed called Thistle, or her show name be Meadow Park Blue Thistle at Elanmore. Which is where I get my Elanmore Blue flash from.
My Daddy be called Bumble, or ch. Myndoc on a Mission. My Mum and Dad were owned by different peoples but the lady what owned my Mum took ill and so My Mum stayed with my Daddy’s Pawrents whilst we puppies were born and little, that why we know more about my Daddy than my Mummy.

Mum says that my Dog Daddy had a personality very like I has, so I guess I takes after him. She said he came and say next to her on the sofa and was demanding chin and neck strokies with his paw, just like I does. Once he almost pushed me off her lap wanting attentions.

Here be my Daddy. Does you think I looks like him?

My Daddy be a champion show dog and his Mum beed very proud of him and showed Mum all his awards and some piccures of some of his other puppies. He also be half brother to a dog owned by a famous lady Doggy freestyler in this country, called Gypsy. She on the cover of a book Mum has too and Mum always say to me, looks she your Auntie. Cool huh?

Here be my Daddy having a grooming demonstration for my Mum. Yup, he was a traitor and helped her learn how to properly brush me. There some of his awards in the background.

Mum did not take many piccures of my parents and completely forgot to take one of my Mum, she was far too busy playing with puppies, and stroking shelties, and asking questions to take many.

Mum and old Daddy had gone specifically to look at me, but they was also considering two of my sisters who were tri-colours. But I was the boldest and most interested in playing so they liked me best, of course! I just knew as soon as we was brought out from our puppy crate and putted in Mum’s arms that she would be my Mum. I was not scared at all and played with some toys they had brought me. I even pulled old Daddy across the room by his finger.

Me and old Daddy.

First Mum snuggle

Which one be me?Those first piccures beed from when I was 5 and a big weeks old. When they comed Mum and Old Daddy left me with a guinea pig teddy which went in the puppy pen with us till they comed back so I would have something familiar that smelled of my Mum. You can see it a bit here.

On the car ride home I cried and beed sad and scared, Mum beed sitting in the back with me, so she gotted me out and I sat on her lap instead. When i got more sleepy she put me back in. It beed very hot so we stopped often to drink and walk on the back seats, My Dad’s pawrents said Mum and Old Daddy were the only ones so far that they hadn’t had to give water too as no one thought to bring it!

I not be ascared when I got to my new home, I looked round (there beed lots to see, like my rabbit siblings!), chewed on my nylabone and went sleepies in my crate. I had Pepe my cat bro then so I not beed alone.

Oh, and this the big pack of goodies we gotted from my breeder.

Well, Honey, I hope that enough about my parents for you!

I has to tag some more furbodies to play, you has to talk about your parents or wherever you comed from afore, and about your first day.
I will tag my beautiful Morgan.
Ginger Jasper
Mya Boo-boo
Tucker (the much better than Dennis Vizla) / Dennis

I also beed gived some awards. This, from Chase

This the list 7 things you love award, now I already done this, But as we dogs tend to love everything I sure I can think of some more. Since there so much romance in dog blog land, with two weddings afoot I thought I would do a love letter to Morgan. Now you all knows that I has two special ladies in my life, but Morgan my main girl. Please would you allow me to has the pleasure of your company at Scooby and Lady’s wedding?

My Morgan, here why I loves her, she;
Original, she has a great sense of style.
Racy, she vigourous and lively
Gentle, she being a great big sister, she so
Naughty, mixed with nice.

Best of all, she my gal,
Everytime I thinks of her,

My heart
It skip a beat
Never, has I knowed such a dog
ever in my life.

*sigh* I thinks that 7 things?
I would like to pass this onto all those loved up pups, especially Scooby doo, Lady, Rosie, Petey, Asta and efurrybody else.

I also got this award from Tucker, thanks Tucker!

I has to say why I loves blogging for this one. Well, I loves blogging because of all the above. Ruff!

I will pass this onto Morgan, my new cat pal Zeus, Honey, um… and… oh, Lorenza! Heh, it hard! To not know who’s had it.
~lickies, Ludo

Today I be doing thanking yous to the Dughallmor beagle gang for this package for playing red nose day that arrived.

Also, to Mack who gived me this award. Thank you!
I will list who I be passing it on to tomorrow as I late for agility right now!

And to Dawn and Katie, who tagged me to do this…

Here the 7 things I loves.

My Mum, especially getting cuddles from her, going to agilities, doing trainings.

Delicious foods! Especially the kind that drops on the floor when peoples is cooking and the kind I get in trainings.

My wubba/ball/any toy I only allowed to have some of the times.

Auntie Penny, especially barking at Auntie Penny to make her chase me. If only she loved me more.

Barking! Especially barking to go outside and see Molly and Faline, then barking to come back, then barking to go out, then barking to come back, then… Mum says you probably get the idea. …barking to go out hehe!

The letterman! He soo very fun to bark at and he brings me parcels and also Auntie Penny barks at him so then I can bark at her, then the door gets opened so I can go out to see Molly and Faline, then I can bark to come in again! heee!

Walkings! Especially going to the beach and going on Ludo’s lookings with lots of new smells.

~lickies, Ludo!

Ludo’s Lookings pt. 2

Hm, so what did it be on the other side of the fence?

Can you see?

Yup! Horses. They look different to how I imagined them. (click) I thinks I will need a bigger net next time I go out horspital hunting with Carlton to keep them from getting his Mama.

Carlton explained to me about horspitals being a place peoples has to go sometimes and they not like it and they keep horses there, only we not know why cos neither of us had ever seed a horse up close and ever since then I has beed ascared of them. But the horses seem ok, so maybe it just the building kind that scary…

I tried to sneak under the fence for a better look.

I was ok with them nice and far away then Mum started saying ‘c’mon’ to the horses and making a clicky sound with her tongue like she was training them with a clicker or something. They started to come real close! ‘Does you be mad Mum! They will get us’, I barked.

Then she stroked one!!

Phew, lucky it didn’t eat her, huh? I think I in trouble here cos Mum say she love horses and used to go horseriding till she beed 16. Riding, yup, peoples sit on their backs and ride them around like cars. Weird huh? Why does they not ride cows and sheeps and things instead?

The horses got bored when Mum did not give them any foods so they wandered off again and we started back home. I glad I survived the horspitals. I tooked all your advice from afore and was very good. I wonder if that building behind be a horspital? Mum say no, it a school building for the boarding school but what does she know, she must be stupid to touch a horse. In fact Mum has to go to horspital soon to have her wisdom teeths tooked out, cos they done something called impacted. I thinks this means they be sucking all her wisdom out her brain so when it try to come out her mouth the teeths steal it and only stupids come out…

Here be a pretty bit of sky. And a piccure of the church.

We gotted a bit tired on the way back, so we went into the St. Bega memorial garden and sat on a bench.

Thanks you Irene Woods, whoever you be for giving us this nice bench to sit on.

Some nice dandylions, Molly and Faline would love to come eat all these!

We also seed these funny bird things up in the sky, they looked kinda like people. Mum said they was people, but people casnot fly.

Me laughing at Silly Mum.

Flying peoples, good one! hehe!

A chicken.

A stream.

That be it. I has lots more sheep piccures but this post will get as relentlessly huge as Mango if I post them today.

I thinks some of you might have beed questioning why I does not want to herd the sheeps. But remember, I a shetland Rabbit-dog, not a shetland sheep dog. As I decided here with very good clever reasonings. So there.

I has also beed gived an award from my new Friends Ginger Jasper and Chase the puggle. Thanks you two!

Here’s how it works: 1) Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person who has granted the award, and his or her blog link. 2) Pass the award to up to 15 other blogs that you’ve newly discovered. Remember to contact the bloggers to let them know they have been chosen for this award.

hm, newly discovered huh? Which pose the question, how new does new be? I will pass it onto, Honey the Dane, Miss Kylie’s other boyfuriend Bruschi the puggle, Joey the goldie, Samantha, Mack, Nala (though she do have it already) and I think that it.

~lickies, Ludo

oh, pee ess, more proof that those wisdom teeths be sucking out Mum’s wisdom. She showed me this the other day and said that it beed Mason Dixie. er… ok Mum.

She has nearly finished making the competition winners so we hopes we can send them off monday. We will also get the paw it forward gifts out ASAP! Mum wanted to put a thingy in from where we live but she keep forgetting to go buy it, we gonna do it today though.

oh peepeeess: Mum also thinking ’bout making a blog for herself to keep track of her crafty things, if she does the models of the winners will be up so you can look if you wants, but not the winners please to keep it a suprise.
